Week 3

Hello everyone. 

It's crazy I have been here for two weeks now.  Time is flying.  I am working hard to learn Tagalog, but we are also learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ in English too.  We are practicing teaching in English and Tagalog.  I have taught many lessons in Tagalog. Yesterday we taught return missionaries who were supposed to act like themselves.  The first one did and we spoke about half English half Tagalog.  The next people didn't get the memo though and it was straight Tagalog because they acted like people from the Philippines.  We taught them the restoration of the gospel and the importance of prayer.  They were laughing at us because we still aren't that great at Tagalog, but at least they told us that we are doing good for only being here for two weeks.  

I still haven't gained any weight.  I am enjoying the food.  Also my great family has sent me a lot of cookies and candy.  I love my family so much that is why I am serving a mission.  A quote by Joseph Smith is, "A man filled with the love of God is not content to bless just his family." That is how I feel. My family is everything to me and I love them so much.  I want to let other people know they can be with their families forever. Anyways I am doing great. Working hard. Staying in shape too haha.
